Looking For Paregoric

Where is Egypt?

They speak of the poorest class in the land of the Pharaohs.
The first, entitled "Trades against the law," tells the story of some street vendors, artists and wandering that despite the great suffering that they live, stand up and laugh again. He 's gone on "Ontv" the private channel, owned by billionaire Sweras, to Wind and Orascom. Once done, you zap, I find another doc. that is about to begin. This was dedicated to the poor of the city of Rossetti, people who work every other day, day out. All the old, poor and miserable.
I thought: Well! a coincidence.
After an hour, I find a third documentary, and this time su un canale pubblico con il titolo molto significativo "La gente accontentata o soddisfatta".
Forse sto esagerando, come di tanto in tanto mi capita di farlo, e forse c'è davvero un messaggio che i media governativi, in collaborazione con alcuni of those "private" wants to give the Egyptian people, or at least to large segments of tele-viewers.
Sunday, 28.11.2010, there will be elections for the Chamber of Deputies. Very crucial election that will also affect the presidential elections, 2011.
The climate in Egypt has become very tense. Some opposition forces, such as Kifaya and the Democratic Front, said the boycott of the elections because, they argue, it is a farce, a big lie.
Other parties of "soft" opposition, so close to the government, have made the internal elections and 51% agreed to be part of this election.
L'ultima volta, nel 2005, 18 cittadini sono stati morti in clash between police and demonstrators.
And in the midst of this tense atmosphere, which is aired on Egyptian channels?
Documentaries inciting resignation all'accontentarsi of little or nothing.
"Dear Egyptian, this time not to play, this time it is a serious matter. Go to sleep or work, or you can come and vote for us. These are only three choices. Everything else will be a great error. settle and let go in peace, for the umpteenth time, the parliamentary elections. "
E 'is the message that I understood.
Just wait a few hours and think: what will (or will not) the Egypt tomorrow?
Let's hope so!
