Invitation College Farewell Party

My channel on YouTube. My YouTube Channel. Rosette Earrings

From time to time, I need something new to challange me in. A shake-up. That’s the way I am. I suffer from the desire for novelty, for challenge and win myself. Of course, to improve myself. I see this new and difficult adventure on the YouTube site as an opportunity to take a step forward as a person and as a creative. A reason not to give up because of the difficulties I encounter in pursuing the chimera of a life based on my ability to create.

I thought about it for some time. I wanted to create a channel to share my passion with insatiable people like me and to report good things to make, tutorials, materials, "discoveries", suggestions or simple little ideas. I made three videos so far, including one I posted right now. If you want, take a look at my brand new YouTube Channel .

Ed, ecco, il mio primo video. Tratta dell’ossidazione ottenuta artificialmente, ricordate? Grazie a tutti.

And here’s my first video. It talks about artificial oxidation, do you remember? A step back a few months ago with the addition of more accurate details. I'd love to know if you like it. Be honest! Ok? :-)) Thank you all.

Cutlery In French Name

Chiodini and Create a Node. Rosette Earrings Headpins and How to Create Knotted.

Orecchini Rosette con agata viola

How are you? Personally I can not say they survive the festivities of Carnival, in the sense that I'm not out yet .. yes, because we, in Lombardy, in the diocese who observe the Ambrosian Rite, the Carnival is not over yet. Saturday, March 12 will be our Saturday grease, followed by the first Sunday of Lent. This means that we are still deep in conversation (or frappe, if you prefer), in pancakes, and, for some "natives" like me, nella cicerchiata, sorella gemella ma non identica, degli struffoli. Sbav!

How are you? For what concerns me I can not say I have survived the festivities of Carnival , in the sense that I'm not out yet .. yes, because here in Lombardy, in the Dioceses that observe the Ambrosian Rite, Carnival is not over yet. Saturday, March 12 will be our “Sabato Grasso”, in english “Fat Saturday” (the last day of Carnival), followed by the first Sunday of Lent. This means that we are still surrounded by sweets, pancakes and families that originate in the South like mine, by “cicerchiata” a cake similar to the neapolitan “struffoli”. Sbav!
While in the kitchen we are getting ready for the cicerchiata, in my creative corner other works are ongoing. I have just made this pair of earrings.

Photos were taken at 6.00 p.m. so they are not really beautiful.. I called these earrings Rosettes because they are embellished by rings twisted together like petals. The balls of the ear wires did not want to return the color they had before I made them with the torch. They have a slight straw tone. Finally, after having tried several ways to remove it, I realized that the final effect was not so bad. A little contrast that does not clash. Actually, is also right to take advantage of unexpected situations and effects that are not calculated. Otherwise, what is it creativity? :-)

Orecchini Rosette con agata viola

Piccola digressione..

A small digression.. One thing that makes me mad is to photograph long earrings vertically! Am I wrong when saying they are difficult to photograph? Maybe it's just my unhappy hand. Or my camera isn’t so good. Anyway, I prefer to take horizontal pictures.. .

In this picture you can see the headpins I have used. They have a knot at the bottom. They are easy to do and they look pretty nice. For those who do not know how to make them here is a photo sequence showing how I did. If you like work with wire, probably you'll like make headpins of this type.

READ A MIDAN Mahfuz al-Tahrir TODAY

First we need to say who is Naghib Mahfuz, and I think the fairest way is to read some passages from his speech on the occasion of the Nobel Prize, conferred in 1988
So let me introduce myself as objectively as is humanly possible. I am the son of two civilizations that at a certain time in history, came together in a happy marriage. The first of these, dated 7,000 years, is the civilization of the pharaohs, and the second, dated 1000 years, is the Islamic civilization. Perhaps there is no need to present either, because you are the elite of culture. But there is nothing wrong with a simple memory, in our state of knowledge and communion. I will not speak of the achievements of civilization of the pharaohs nor of the birth of empires. Thank God, this has become a stale reminder that uncomfortable with the modern consciousness. Not even talk about the discovery of the existence of God and its introduction in the dawn of human civilization. It 's a long history and there is no one of you not familiar with the prophet-king Akhenaton. I will not speak of the achievements of this civilization in art and literature and its known miracles: the Pyramids, the Sphinx and Karnak, since anyone who has not had a chance to see these monuments has read them and reflected on their forms. Allow me then that you introduce the civilization of the Pharaohs with what looks like a story of the time when my personal circumstances I have to become a storyteller. Hear then this historical episode: the ancient papyri relate that Pharaoh was aware of a relationship between some guilty men and women of the harem of his court. It was expected that they do justice in the spirit of his time. Instead, he summoned to his presence of the chosen men of law to which he asked to investigate what he had discovered. He told them he wanted the truth to be able to carry out the sentence with Justice. This behavior is, in my opinion, larger than the foundation of an empire o alla costruzione delle Piramidi. Non parlerò of its achievements that have built thousands of minarets that call to worship, and devotion to the good through vast areas ranging from around India and China to the borders of France. Do not even speak of brotherhood between religions and races that has been achieved in its embrace a spirit of tolerance is unknown to humanity before and now. Instead introduce that civilization in a dramatic situation summarizing one of its most significant: in a victorious battle against Byzantium, the POWs were returned in exchange for a number of books the legacy of philosophy, doctor and mathematician of ancient Greece. This is a testimony to the value of the human spirit in its application of knowledge, even if the person who asks is a believer in God and the provider is a result of a pagan civilization. It was my fate, ladies and gentlemen, to be born within these two civilizations, and to absorb their milk to feed their literature and their art. Then I drank the nectar of your rich and fascinating culture. The inspiration of all this-and also from my anxiety-the words flowed from me. These words have been lucky enough to earn the appreciation of your academic honors that crowned my effort with the great Nobel Prize. Thanks to my name and on behalf of those great departed builders who founded the two civilizations

(“ Nagib Mahfouz: AlThawra wa AlTasawouf: The revolution and Sufism, "the critic Egyptian Mustafa Abdel Ghani, first published in 1995 and with additions in 2002)
Suffice it to mention his novel" El Malhamit Harafish: the epic story of the weak "to arrive at what has happened these days in Egypt. The novel was written after the victory of 1973 in 1977. Full of enthusiasm for the future. The harafish are weak, the masses, those of the middle class and the lower. The epic tells the story of the last 60 years in Egypt. He tells the story of these Fitewat, strong men who dominate the streets, neighborhoods and entire neighborhoods in the spirit of nobility and chivalry.

Giovani, giovanissimi ed esperti d’informatica, even the most talented officers of the Ministry of the Interior, who are not familiar with new technologies. Still use the same methods of the 70 and 80.
Young people have organized their first event, just 25 January, the National Day of the police, not by chance. It was the obvious sign of protest and rejection of violence and brutality of policemen who have killed many innocent victims in the dark safety of their centers. One of these victims had the name of Khalid Said, of which more later. It was Tuesday, the police tried to keep calm for young people. Young people marched through the streets, raising his voice with the parola “Silmiya…Silmiya” cioè pacifica…pacifica.

1. Said al-Kafrawi

When it was published his book "al-Karnak" Mahfouz told me: "Dear Kafrawi, in my book you're Ismail al-Sheikh."

2. Ismail al-Sheikh

And so we go to meet Ismail al-Sheikh. Obviously we find him in the cafe at the center of Cairo, al-Karnak, a beautiful local [ ... with its excellent coffee, clean water and pleasant, cups and glasses are a miracle of cleanliness, sweetness of the lady, Qurunfola, his old respectable, his bright and beautiful young girl ... ] p. 18 is the last reference to the group of friends, Ismail al-Sheikh, his beautiful girlfriend Zainab and their dear friend Hilmi Hamada. Let us approach more to their table. Here it is Ismail:
[build a strong and big. Do not wear that one dress, always the same, wearing it in summer and winter. In the summer he took off his jacket and winter wear it again with a jumper [...] the son of a very poor. The father works in a modest restaurant. His mother is a street vendor, and among other sells basil leaves and palm trees on the Feast of the dead to the cemetery. His elder brothers are working as an apprentice to a butcher, the other carter and the other as yet as a shoemaker. Living in a house in one room overlooking the courtyard of a tenement. The building is like a big family with fifty members, there is no bathroom or water and there is only one latrine, on the corner of the courtyard, where you bring the cans with water. In the courtyard, meet the women and sometimes men, who share stories, jokes and sorrows, beyond insults and blows in, eat and pray. The revolution broke out when he was three years, so he is a child in every way.] p. 49-50
Potevo only see what was before me, I saw nothing. My tired eyes are fixed on the person and what was left of my humanity was dissolved in fear ... In spite of everything, with the force of desperation, I created a story where I placed my hopes and said: ... <>. ... I silenced a blow that hit me from behind and that made me cry as he said ... <>. ... He asked me the name, age, work, and said after he added: ... <> ... I was amazed by the strangeness of the question, but for the first time I felt what I had suspected and said sincerely, < >. … < > … <<è cresciuta in prigione>>. …
…< > … I gave way to silence me as I used to do in the dark cell while murmuring: <> ... He made a sign with his hand and heard the sound of approaching footsteps behind me I shivered. I felt the presence of a person at my side. With the corner of my eye I caught it was a woman. I turned to her surprise and driven by the fear that overcame me, and instinctively I exclaimed: - <> ... <>. ... Moves his sunken eyes between us, then asked: <> ... I felt my heart break ... <> ... I asked in a tone of suffering around the world aimed at: < > … < >. … Risposi seppellendo gli ultimi sprazzi di speranza: < >. … … ] pp. 60-61
E il supplizio non finisce qua. Zainab viene violentata e Hilmi Hamada, addirittura viene ucciso:
[era morto nella stanza degli interrogatori. Dotato di fervore e audàcia, li aveva irritated with his answers so they took him to slap causing his anger. Then he tried to counter attacked, but the guard broke up punching him until he fainted. Then he discovered he left this life. ] P. 68

3. Khalid Said
Ironically, maybe. Or a confirmation of the methodology used by the police of the regime to force an entire people to abstain, refrain from raising his voice, to abstain from voting, refrain from arousing problems. The same death Hilmi Hamada was repeated, quasi testualmente, nel giugno 2010 ad Alessandria d’Egitto con il giovane bellissimo, Khalid Said.
Among Hamada Hilmi and Khalid Said, there are dozens, if not hundreds and hundreds of other victims, and of course other monsters. I have a report on torture in Egypt, made by a specialized center (The torture in Egypt, Al-Nadeem Center for the care and psychological rehabilitation of victims of violence) in which there are horror stories.
All this pain, and all these have escaped punishment from the history books of Egypt in the twentieth century. But thanks to literary and cinematic and Mahfuz Ali Badrakhan, and finally con le nuove tecnologie la memoria ha resistito e con la morte di nuove vittime, cresceva nelle anime degli egiziani il sentimento d’odio e di rifiuto di questa macchina infernale, come usava Mahfuz dire: “ macchina infernale, che quando comincia a macinare, è capace di polverizzare coloro che sono accomunati dagli ideali e dalle stesse aspirazioni … “.
And we doubt everything, even the walls and tables. I was amazed at the situation it was in my homeland all produced and announced that the man was heading toward a splendid future. But why, then man becomes weak and falls gradually until it reached the value of a mosquito? Why disappears without rights or dignity or defense? Why is shattered by the cowardice, hypocrisy and hunger? ] p. 36
questions are spontaneous. Mahfouz himself in an interview says very clearly:
"I too am a child of the revolution and recognize its benefits, such as agricultural reform and its attempt to establish a degree of social justice. But, elsewhere, I can not accept two things: the negative side, the result of the errors of those who have tried to put into practice these noble values. And the lack of democracy. And that is why I address the harsh criticism against the corrupt, thieves and oppression ... "(interview with Mahfuz made by Abd el-al-A'ali hamams, Thus Spake Mahfuz )
From the regime
Mahfuz, as a keen observer of Egyptian society, has also given voice to those who think in a pragmatic way, those who think that everything that is not [inevitable in complex secretions emitted by a giant structure] and continues in its wake: ;
[We know what a worried resident of the alleys of Cairo when Saladin won the final victory over the Crusaders? Do we have an idea of the sorrows of Egyptian villagers when Muhammad Ali built the Egyptian empire?] to reach the conclusion: [Not true, then the formation of our State, social scientific and industrial purposes, più forte del Medio Oriente, la sopportazione di queste sofferenze per la sua realizzazione?
[Cominciai a immaginare e a ricordare.
Alla fine di questo romanzo che mette a nudo la fragilità di an entire generation of oppressed and arrogance of this regime that it blinds the unlimited power. Mahfouz has the power to give us a message of hope. He believed, peace to his soul, in the young. The finish is a dialogue with a young man, the youngest of the group:
[- Maybe your day will be better. = We have in front of a high mountain to overcome. -The truth is that you - you and your friends - you are a fruit that was not foreseen, and the darkness came a light beam as created by the power of magic.] P. 93
can not be add more. A Midan al-Tahrir I saw hope and authenticity. I saw the break of dawn, after a long night. I saw Said al-Kafrawi, Ismail al-Sheikh, Zainab Diab, Hamada Hilmi and Khalid Said. Or perhaps they are their brothers. Or maybe their children. I also saw Mahfuz.

will be the proximity to the mysterious pyramids of Montevecchia oriented in the stars (to be exact, we should speak of the pyramids of Monte, a suburb of Rovagnate, a village close to the best-known in Montevecchia Province of Lecco) to let me lean so much for the heavenly bodies? Lately my creations are full of references to celestial bodies and in relation to them.

Will it be the proximity to the mysterious pyramids of Montevecchia (to be exact, we should speak of the pyramids of Monte, a suburb of Rovagnate, a village close to the best-known Montevecchia in the province of Lecco) to let me tend towards heavenly bodies? Lately my creations are full of references to the heavenly bodies and what concerns them. Especially, to the moon, the orbits and the stars.

On the other hand, what makes one think of an alabaster pearl, so ethereal and white, if not a celestial body as the Moon whitened by the Sun?

Let's say I let my imagination run free and, mixing some suggestion, I added a strange ring to my Moon. A little lopsided, not perfect, as I like :-)

These days I'm working hard on many fronts and now hope to show the results as soon as possible.

These days I'm working hard on many fronts and hope to show you the results as soon as possible. I Continue to experiment with soldering as you can see, but already I feel that what I have learned is not enough... I am likely to get me another torch and other materials more appropriate to take the next step. It 's always the case. You do not Have time to learn something That your mind flies to other shores! Of All These Things, though, the next time I'll talk quietly.

Good creativity! Happy

Yellowwood Fingerboards
