Ogni tanto qualche novità ci vuole. Uno scossone, una sfida. Io sono così. Soffro di desiderio di novità, di voglia di sfidarmi e di vincermi. Naturalmente, di migliorarmi. Vedo questa nuova e difficile avventura sul sito YouTube   come un’occasione per fare un passo avanti come persona e come creativa. Un motivo per non arrendermi di fronte alle difficoltà che incontro nel perseguire la mia chimera di una vita totalmente dedicata al creare.

Ci pensavo da tempo. Volevo creare un Canale per condividere la mia passione con gli insaziabili come me e per segnalare cose belle da realizzare, tutorial, materiali, piccole “scoperte”, suggestioni o semplici idee. Ho preparato tre video, finora, uno dei quali postato giusto oggi. Se vi va, date un’occhiata al mio Canale YouTube .

 

From time to time, I need something new to challange me in. A shake-up. That’s the way I am. I suffer from the desire for novelty, for challenge and win myself. Of course, to improve myself. I see this new and difficult adventure on the YouTube site as an opportunity to take a step forward as a person and as a creative. A reason not to give up because of the difficulties I encounter in pursuing the chimera of a life based on my ability to create.

I thought about it for some time. I wanted to create a channel to share my passion with insatiable people like me and to report good things to make, tutorials, materials, "discoveries", suggestions or simple little ideas. Ed, ecco, il mio primo video. Tratta dell’ossidazione ottenuta artificialmente, ricordate? Un passo indietro a qualche mese fa con l’aggiunta di particolari più precisi ed attuali. Mi farebbe piacere sapere se vi piace .-) Onesti, eh! Grazie a tutti.

Chiodini and Create a Node. Rosette Earrings Headpins and How to Create Knotted.

How are you? Personally I can not say they survive the festivities of Carnival, in the sense that I'm not out yet .. yes, because we, in Lombardy, in the diocese who observe the Ambrosian Rite, the Carnival is not over yet. Saturday, March 12 will be our Saturday grease, followed by the first Sunday of Lent. This means that we are still deep in conversation (or frappe, if you prefer), in pancakes, and, for some "natives" like me, nella cicerchiata, sorella gemella ma non identica, degli struffoli. Sbav!

Mentre in cucina fervono i preparativi per la cicerchiata, nel mio angolo creativo fervono altri lavori. Ho realizzato questi orecchini lunghi con componenti tutti realizzati da me.

How are you? For what concerns me I can not say I have survived the festivities of Carnival , in the sense that I'm not out yet .. yes, because here in Lombardy, in the Dioceses that observe the Ambrosian Rite, Carnival is not over yet. Saturday, March 12 will be our “Sabato Grasso”, in english “Fat Saturday” (the last day of Carnival), followed by the first Sunday of Lent. This means that we are still surrounded by sweets, pancakes and families that originate in the South like mine, by “cicerchiata” a cake similar to the neapolitan “struffoli”. Sbav!
While in the kitchen we are getting ready for the cicerchiata, in my creative corner other works are ongoing. I have just made this pair of earrings.

 

 

Foto prese alle 18.00, quindi non bellissime.. Ho chiamato questi orecchini Rosette perché sono decorati con degli anellini intrecciati tra loro come petali. La pallina delle monachelle non ne voleva sapere di tornare del colore che era prima che la passassi alla torcia. Ha un leggero tono paglierino. Alla fine dopo avere provato più sistemi per toglierlo, mi sono resa conto che l’effetto finale non è poi così male. Un piccolo contrasto che non stona. Quindi, rimarrà così. Infondo, è giusto anche sfruttare le situazioni impreviste ed effetti non calcolati. Sennò, la creatività a che serve? :-)

Photos were taken at 6.00 p.m. so they are not really beautiful.. I called these earrings Rosettes because they are embellished by rings twisted together like petals. The balls of the ear wires did not want to return the color they had before I made them with the torch. They have a slight straw tone. Finally, after having tried several ways to remove it, I realized that the final effect was not so bad. A little contrast that does not clash. Actually, is also right to take advantage of unexpected situations and effects that are not calculated. Otherwise, what is it creativity? :-)

 

 

Piccola digressione.. Una cosa che mi manda al manicomio è fotografare gli orecchini lunghi per il lungo! Sbaglio o sono difficili da rendere con le immagini? O, forse, è solo la mia mano infelice. O la macchina fotografica così così. Però, volete mettere le fotografie in orizzontale?

A small digression.. One thing that makes me mad is to photograph long earrings vertically! Am I wrong when saying they are difficult to photograph? Maybe it's just my unhappy hand. Or my camera isn’t so good. Anyway, I prefer to take horizontal pictures.. .

 

 

Da questa immagine si può vedere il tipo di chiodino che ho usato. Si tratta di un chiodino fatto a mano con la testa annodata.  Molto semplice da fare e dall’aspetto “divertente”.  Per chi ancora non lo conoscesse, ecco una breve sequenza fotografica che mostra come l’ho realizzato. Se vi piace smanettare con il filo metallico, credo che vi piacerà realizzare chiodini di questo tipo.

In this picture you can see the headpins I have used. They have a knot at the bottom. They are easy to do and they look pretty nice. For those who do not know how to make them here is a photo sequence showing how I did. If you like work with wire, probably you'll like make headpins of this type.
